Ms. Camila Arnold recently returned from a guest appearance in Vienna/Austria where she was featured soloist for original compositions by Eugen Lardy, Alexander Blechinger and Elisabeth Trojan presented by Harmonia Classica in the Beethoven Saal of Palais Palffy.

Born in Santiago de Chile and raised in Germany Ms. Arnold grew up bi-lingual. In Germany she received most of her musical training. She started piano lessons at the age of 10 and was soon accepted at the Conservatory in Erlangen/Germany. In 1987 she moved on to the Christian-Ernst-Gymnasium school of music in Erlangen/Germany.


She began her vocal training at age 15 under Norma Lerer in Nürnberg/Germany and Professor Charlotte Lehmann in Hannover/Germany. Ms. Arnold performed as "Nancy" in the musical "Oliver" at the Markgrafentheater in Erlangen/Germany as well as a featured soloist in various concerts and recitals.

Ms. Arnold was awarded a scholarship for outstanding vocal performance in 1989 and immediately following this was accepted at the Music University in Würzburg.

In 1992 Ms. Arnold moved to the USA/California and joined a vocal ensemble at the International Headquarters of Self-Realization Fellowship in Los Angeles where she performed for large audiences at special functions. During that time, she was recorded as the featured soprano soloist in an original arrangement of a Renaissance song at the historical A&M Record Studio in Hollywood.

In 1998 she moved to San Diego County to pursue her music studies at Palomar College and with several renowned vocal teachers. Ms. Arnold recently performed as a soloist with the Palomar Choral and is featured on the historical recording of orchestral works by Giacomo Antonio Perti. Ms. Arnold has sung with the San Diego Opera in the Verdi Requiem and has presented rare Christmas carols from all over the world in their original languages at the Oceanside Museum. Ms. Arnold has been sought after as a Church soloist by several predominant Churches in San Diego. In 2002 her first CD featuring classical and inspirational vocal music was released and is available for sale.

Ms. Arnold currently is the Musical Director for Arts Off Broadway at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido as well as for Montessori Arts and Sciences in Carlsbad. Ms. Arnold also has a private music studio in Escondido where she gives voice and piano lessons.

Ms. Arnold performs regularly in Vienna/Austria for the Austrian Society of Music and the Austrian Society of Contemporary Music as well as for the Vienna Music Festival Weeks. She is the co-founder of the Austrian Californian Society of Music (ACSOM) with headquarters in Los Angeles. Ms. Arnold performs as featured soprano soloist with orchestras, in chamber music concerts and solo recitals within California and nationally.
