About Camila Arnold
Camila Arnold is an accomplished artist in classical Viennese art song and operetta, the sacred music repertoire, opera and musical theater. She attributes her constant freshness and brilliant bel-canto sound as well as her adaptability to different singing styles to the Tomatis Listening Fitness Training.
Camila began her vocal training at age 15 under Norma Lerer in Nürnberg/Germany and Professor Charlotte Lehmann in Hannover/Germany. At the Markgrafentheater in Erlangen/Germany Camila performed as "Nancy" in the musical "Oliver" and was featured soloist in various concerts and recitals. In California/USA, Camila joined a vocal ensemble at the International Headquarters of Self-Realization Fellowship in Los Angeles where she performed for large audiences at special functions. During that time, she was recorded as the featured soprano soloist in an original arrangement of a Renaissance song at the historical A&M Record Studio in Hollywood. In San Diego, Camila performed as soprano soloist with the Palomar Choral and is featured on the historical recording of orchestral works by Giacomo Antonio Perti. Her credits include performances with the San Diego Opera in the Verdi Requiem, the Oceanside Museum, the Californiae Foundation for International Global Arts in Solana Beach and the Desert Community Orchestra in Ridgecrest. In addition, Camila has been sought after as a Church soloist by several predominant Churches in Los Angeles and San Diego counties.
Her international credits include performances in Vienna/Austria for the Austrian Society of Music, the Austrian Society of Contemporary Music, the Vienna Music Festival Weeks, the Harmonia Classica; and for the Assisi Festival in Italy.
As co-founder and artistic director of the Austrian Californian Society of Music (ACSOM), Camila specializes in progressive classical works by contemporary composers: Gerhard Track, Werner Eugen Lardy, Werner Pelinka and Ulf-Diether Soyka. It is her mission to bring new and uplifting music to audiences in California and in Europe.
