Camila Arnold teaches private voice and piano lessons in her studio at B&H Music in Escondido, California. She is currently the appointed music director for Arts Off Broadway, a non-profit youth musical theater group, at the California Center for the A rts in Escondido. Her many engagements as a music teacher include the music direction at Montessori Arts and Sciences in Carlsbad, summer classes at Encinitas Country Day School and Master Classes at Valley Center High School. She has been a member of the Music Teacher Association of California since 2001.
Ms. Arnold specializes in beginning to intermediate piano and voice students. Her voice students sing all styles: from legit, classical and operatic repertoire, sacred and gospel music to musical theater, show-tunes and pop music. She derives her vocal methods from "Vocal Techniques for the Young Singer" by Steven Rickards, Larra Brown Henderson; Bel Canto vocalizes, and pop vocal techniques by Lisa Popiel. Her students are renowned for excellent musicianship, exuberant expressions and polished vocal sound and performance. Her piano lessons for the young beginner combine methodologies from the Yamaha Method, Suzuki and Kodaly. All her lessons include ear training as well as music theory with an emphasis on early concepts of composition for piano students. 
Her organized and meticulous attention to the growth and progress of each student brings them leading roles, music scholarships, college and university acceptance and awards at vocal competitions. Her warm and encouraging tone fosters confidence and fun in learning. Ms. Arnold is a dedicated teacher who loves the idea of sharing her knowledge of music with students of all ages striving to develop each individual's natural talent.
